Question: My dentist wants me to take 1000 mg of Tylenol and 800 mg of Advil before my next appointment.
Is that OK?

Yes, it is okay to take these drugs in that biggy doses.
You dentist is expecting pain and swelling after procedure so he is predicting you.
I would also advise for antibiotic shot like amoxicillin 2gm one hour prior to such procedures
