Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
It appears you have developed XXXXXXX hemorrhides. These are dilated veins and are usuall painless.
There is risk that it may dilate further and protrude out. The treatment for this is sclerotherapy, where injection is given in the lesion to reduce it.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you

I have a vein that goes right down the center of my forehead in a y shape and pops out everytime I smile, laugh, bend over, or lay down. Is there ANYTHING that can be done to get rid of this?? I've looked all over the web and some say it can be done with sclerotherapy and others say the vein carries too much blood to be operated on. HELP!

My doctor told me the ultrasound I just had on my right leg is showing that my veins are thin/weak. He is running more blood test and is checking my thyroid as well. But after coming home and searching on the internet weak veins come from varicose veins and I though varicose veins can be seen with the eye. I do not seem to have any showing? Is it possible to have varicose veins with none to be seen by the eye?

Hello,

I am an active 59 year old female. I am at a healthy weight for my 5.5 height. My health is excellent...blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar on the low side of the normal range. A small vein that diagonally crosses my shin has become slightly raised. It is only noticeably if pointed out to someone. However, it throbs and tingles and was quite distracting while I was playing tennis. Could this be a temporary condition or does it sound like the first stages of varicose veins. I have had no prior vein troubles other then a few spider veins on the upper legs. These were removed via sclerotherapy approximately 18 years ago. Any thoughts about how I can halt the progression of this new situation? Thank you in advance.
