My Friend ( Age 39/ Female) Has Been Experiencing Itching

Question: My Friend ( Age 39/ Female) has been experiencing itching 10 days back followed by noticing the appearance of small brown spots dispersed in her chest and stomach . Images are attached.
She had been bathing in very hot shower water but discontinued now after itching began. Itching has improved
considerably with coconut oil and moisturiser.
10 years back she experienced severe itching and rough skin in her neck due to sun exposure and aloe Vera helped. The spots on her upper neck are from 10 years back.
She feels itching even while cooking in the heat.
Currently taking Amla Juice , Thyronorm ( 25 Mcg) / once per day , Giloy Juice.
Please find the pictures attached and let us know what to do.
We do have Elovera IMF Cream in the house , Can that be applied.

Brief Answer:
Eczematous rash or pityriasis versicolor, can’t see any pics, upload again
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query.
It seems to be either an eczematous rash or pityriasis versicolor which is a superficial fungal infection of the skin.
I can’t see any pictures.
I would recommend you to upload them again under the report section of the site so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.
Alternatively you can mail me the pictures to YYYY@YYYY as “Attention: Dr Asmeet”.

Dr Asmeet

Brief Answer:
Eczematous rash, topical steroid, antihistaminic, moisturizer
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be an eczematous rash.
I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream diluted in a moisturizing cream like elovera IMF cream in the ratio of 1:3 twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg twice daily for 2 weeks.
Ask her to keep body moisturised, avoid harsh soaps for bathing, avoid hot water for bathing, avoid direct sun exposure, stay in cool airy environment and wear cotton clothes.
These measures will help in resolving her problem.
