I have an almond size lump in neck, grown a little but not painful, there for a few months now sometimes sore throat. I also feel tired all the time even after 8hrs sleep and feel achy in joints with bone pain. Just fatigue with a throat infection or something? Or should I see GP or specialist?

Thanks for posting your query.

I think you should consult your family physician first.

The common possibility seems to be in your case is enlarged lymphnode. When ever there is some infection in the near by area the lymph nodes in that region can get enlarged.

Even minor infection like sore throat can lead to this.

Still as you are not feeling well and felling tired all the time you need proper medical examination by your doctor. The problem could be due to some simple things like iron or vitamin deficiency or some infection.

Your doctor after examination will advise some blood tests like blood counts and other reports as per his clinical impression.
