Is Upper Abdominal Pain After Eating A Symptom Of Stomach Ulcer?
Question: Yes please I'm wondering if I have an ulcer in my stomach, when I eat late at night after work. I get pain in middle top of my stomach. If I eat I'm sick . The pain isn't going away. This has happened 3 times in last 3 months

Since this has happened 3 times in 3 months, there would definitely be gastritis. Ulcer pains go on for a longer duration of time say days and weeks together if you do not take proper medicines and care.
I would like to know a few details:
- For how many days the problem lasts?
- Is there any referred pain in the back at the same time?
- What is the type of the pain- burning, cutting, twisting or so?
- Any particular food or beverages that increase or reduce the problems?
- Black stools anytime?
- Any other information you would like to share.
Start few medicines immediately:
PPI like Omeprazole 40 mg daily
Antacid 3 tsf every 3 hours, particularly when on empty stomach.
Foods to be taken on time
Soft bland diet.
Avoid hot, spicy foods
No late nights.
And most important no stress and/or anxiety.
Get an appointment of a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation, examination, Upper GI Endoscopy and further tests as may be advised.
