Question: I have a problem with low white cell count as well as a low vitamin d level. I have had a continued hair loss for several years now, but in the past year it have excellerated... Is there a relationship in these low wbc/vit d and hair loss.

There is no direct relationship between low WBC count and hair fall. But low Vitamin D levels are now being recognised as the possible cause of hair fall ( it was not accepted very recently as cause of hair fall ) .

However i would recommend for testing for two other conditions which can cause hair fall. These are Low Iron levels and low testosterone levels. So kindly get tested for these and revert back .

Also ask your doctor to start Vitamin D supplements for you.
