Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting your query in HealthCare Magic,
I have read through your query meticulously,
HPV vaccines were designed to be administered during the pre- pubertal or pubertal age group, that is in general case before the first sexual intercourse. Even married women can get vaccinated till the age of 26. You can consider getting vaccinated but it would be best for you to consider getting a pap smear test done.
As such no harm has been reported in future pregnancies.
You can get vaccinated in any good clinics.
The rubella vaccine taken at 23 will be sufficient. But I would suggest you to get a rubella test done to confirm if you are totally immunized against it.
Hope this helps.
Kindly revert back for any further queries you may have.
Thanks and regards
heritability of cervical cancer is minor prop of the entire risk factors
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the follow up query,
I'm extremely sorry for the delay in replying you as I was travelling to my hometown,
I'm so sorry for your loss and I can certainly understand your concerns.
I'm sure you must be aware that cervical cancer is caused by repeated infection by a virus named human papilloma virus. The heritability of cervical cancer has been estimated between 22% and 46%, which is reported to be a minor proportion of the entire risk factors. You are also required to avoid al possible risk factors like-
- using birth control pills for long
- having more than 3 hildren
- any habits like smoking
Annual pap smeat test for 2 years and then 2-3 years interval regular check up is recommended for you.
So, I would suggest you to consult with a gynaecologist in your area for a pap smear test and then you may choose to opt for HPV vaccination. All types of HPV vaccination is administered over 1, 1-2 months and 6 months. If after first dose you find yourself to be pregnant, you will be required to continue the remaining doses after your pregnancy. You need to discuss about this option with your doctor.
You are required to be immunized against rubella ( if not taken MMR vaccine), Hepatitis B vaccine, Tetanus toxoid vaccine before pregnancy.
I would suggest you to discontinue acnesol just to be on the safer side because as such no reports have been documented on its harmful effects though some report to have pre-term delivery. You may use products containing benzyl peroxide for acne.
Hope this helps
Please feel free to discuss further for any further queries,
