Purpura is not an early symptom of leukemia. This is often the last stage and when the disease is far advanced. I will like that you send am image of this purpura for review as well. Doing a blood test will help look at the platelet number and other blood report for more objective and definitive response.

I have has these small blotches of reddish hematomas under the skin that occur every so often for some 30 years they just seem to be occurring more regularly in recent days
