Posted on Wed, 23 Dec 2015
Question: Hello,
I had sex with my girlfriend unprotected and came inside her on monday night. Right after she took the plan-b one step pill. Then about 20 hours later on tuesday night, she took another plan-b one step pill. Today is thursday night and she says she is having a creamy white, sticky discharge that she hasn't had before coming out of her vagina. Is she pregnant?

Brief Answer:
Common effect of emergency pill

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It is common to have such a discharge after emergency pill intake which has high dose progesterone and commonly leads to thickening of the cervical mucus.
Chances of pregnancy are negligible but still wait for her periods and do pregnancy test in case there is delay in period date.
All the best

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Nothing to worry as the delay in periods is very cmon due to progesterone content of the pill.
Now no need to take anything and just wait for your periods which will come in a week from now.

The girl still hasn't had her period and she just had some brown discharge. Could this be a sign of pregnancy?

Brief Answer:
side effect of ipill

Detailed Answer:
No nothing to worry as I told you there was no egg in her body at the time of coitus so she cannot form a baby.
This erratic spotting and bleeding is because of the effect of ipill which was taken in double the dose and this has changed the endometrial health and ovarian response.
So her periods which were on the way have been put on halt for a while but will come in a couple of days most probably.
All the best.
