Is It Possible To Get Pregnant Despite Having Unwanted 72 Post Unprotected Sex?

Question: I had my last periods on 6th feb end on 11th feb .. I had a unprotected sex on 12th feb and within 21 hours i took birth control pill. After that i had sex on 17th feb and after sex blood discharge and heavy lower back pain from that day to till now , i take unwanted 72 within 18 hours .. As now my period date was 6th march but today 16th march i not get my periods yet. my periods late cause of i take two pills in less days? Is there any chance of pregnancy?plz suggest any medicine to get my periods

Thanks for writing to us.

You did unprotected sex in SAFE period in both occasion and took emergency pill within first 24 hrs of sex, which will give more than 95% extra protection against unwanted pregnancy. In this case, your chance of pregnancy is extremely RARE or NIL.

Bloody discharge occurred due to withdrawal effect of previous pill. Period may be delayed for 2 weeks due to hormonal imbalance (due to effect of pill), mental stress, pelvic infection, weight change, irregular diet pattern etc.

I suggest you to await another 1 week to get period naturally. If you DON'T get it by this time, you should contact with doctor to induce period after doing one home pregnancy test.

My missed period time is almost 15 days done. Yet i didn't get. how i can get my periods. I can't go to doc as i m in hostel. Plz suggest any medicine or anything else to prevent pregnancy
Sometime i m getting light brown discharge and the area also itching . But not get my periods

1) I suggest Norethisterone tab to induce period. You will get withdrawal bleeding like period within 5-7 days after stopping them.

2) For vaginal itching, oral anti-fungal medication (Fluconazole) or Vaginal suppository like CLINGEN (combined Clindamycin and Clotrimazole) can be used for 3 days.

Take complete prescription from your local doctor.
