Brief Answer:
relax. donot panic. u r likely to be safe.

Detailed Answer:
Its very important to know that

1.if the dog is normal by day 15 after bite; usually you will not contract rabies because if a dog has rabies then it shows signs in two weeks.
2.this doesnot mean that you should not take post exposure prophylaxis as delaying injections will not be able to protect you if dog had rabies.
3. As at times no one can guarantee if the given vaccine was effective in a given case, it is advised not to skin any doses.
4.do vaccinate dog ahead of time.
5.just for your anxiety; its not unwise to take the last remaining dose earliest possible as it wont harm you but will keep you safer if you are around canine XXXXXXX

Hope this helps u understand same. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
no.

Detailed Answer:
Thatswhat I suggested if the dog is healthy for two weeks, its likely that dog had no rabies to transfer to you.
The course is suggested for postexposure prophylaxis. Since the disease is so deadly once any one acquires it; most doctors end up advising full course not taking a chance of any further contamination with dog saliva.the course is applicable as full when dog is not traceable.i suggested that if u wish to compelte thw remaining dose; it wont harm you but satisfy your anxiety.
after all, these are guidelines and recommendations. Individual treating doctor has full rights to change the course as per the respective concerns.
