Brief Answer:
Blood test for CA 19.9 and AFP

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your CT scan. You have a mass in pancreas and liver.

Would advise you to do blood test for CA 19.9 and AFP

If these tumour markers are high then biopsy test needs to be done to rule out malignancy.

Hi Dr De,

So are you saying that you cannot determine if it is cancer or not from the CT scan?

How big are the masses?

If it is not cancer what else could it be?

If it is cancer what can be done or is it terminal?

Kind Regards

Brief Answer:
PET CT scan

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

CT scan is suspicious of malignancy. But confirmatory test is the biopsy test.

The masses are less than 2 cm so chances of cancer are less. If it is not cancer then it could be a benign cyst. If it is cancer then you need chemotherapy and radiotherapy. If biopsy shows it to be cancer the PET CT scan has to be done to find the stage of the cancer.
