Is HIV 3rd Generation Test Done Five Years Post Exposure Conclusive?

default
Posted on Tue, 13 Dec 2016
Question: Doctor. Had an incident seven years ago on a school bus where someone got stuck with a ball point/sewing needle then I got stuck. Weeks after experienced a fever, persistent night sweats, and white spots on my penis.

I got tested five years after this happened I believe it was a 3rd generation test for HIV 1 and 2. I tested negative but now seven years after the incident I am experiencing constant rapid weight lossheadaches, weakness, and sometimes seem to have trouble concentrating.

I have been eating well yet still losing weight quickly. I've been peeing a lot but not pooping much at all and I don't seem to be producing any boogers or mucus buildup in my nose. I'm worried something is seriously wrong and want to find out what so I can get treatment.
