Is Asmanex Or Spiriva Better For Allergy?

Question: Hello,
I have allergy on my dogs. The best for me is Flovent HFA, but now I have only Asmanex HFA and Spiriva Respimat. What can you recomended for me to use today.

Hi and welcome to HCM.

If there are respiratory manifestation of allergy then you should take Asmanex instead of flovent since it has similar antiallergic effect. Spiriva is something else, and this is not steroid nor antihistamine so it will not help with allergies.

Also,it may be good to have antihistamine pills such as Loratadine or Diphenhydramine by yourself which will have faster effect for skin manifestation.
