I Keep Getting Ankle Swelling See Pictures Attached. I Don't
Question: I keep getting ankle swelling see pictures attached. I don't have heart failure or kidney problems i am worried whats wrong. I have no symptoms, no pain or anything any idea what wrong. If its water retention is there anything different i can take as i don't want water tablets. The past 4 months I have had 80mg Triamcinolone injections for asthma control can this be the cause of my problems. My last injection was 4 weeks ago and now they have stopped.

Are all the above easily treatable. I have just found out I have low vitamin D and low vitamin B12

What causes low vitamin B12 i am having injections will I need them for the rest of my life.
Also if I took Furosemide for my swelling a water tablet would I need them all the time?
The swelling only happens when i work as a typist then settles about 24 hours after.
I am so scared about everything

Vitamin B12 deficiency is usually related to malabsorption, which could be related to an autoimmune disorder (a fibrogastroscopy is needed) or low intake.
In case of autoimmune disorders (confirmed by gut biopsy), you may need to take injections once a month for your entire life.
Regarding furosemide, it should be continued until your symptoms (leg swelling) are improved.
