Brief Answer:
Gradual tapering suggested

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

Ambien (Zolpidem) is a non-benzodiazepine sedative medication. Compared to the usual benzodiazepine sedatives, it has much lesser risks of dependence and is relatively easier to taper.

Since you have taken Ambien for 2 months continuously, I would suggest that you reduce the dose by 1/4th tablet every week, to ensure a smooth tapering. So, a suggested tapering schedule would be:

3/4 tablet at night for week
(followed by) 1/2 tablet at night for a week
(followed by) 1/4 tablet at night for a week

Xeralto (Rivaroxaban) is an oral anticoagulant medication and has interactions with several medication. Ambien is not known to have any significant interactions with Xeralto, but Melatonin has been found to have a risk of increasing the side effects of Xeralto. So, it is advisable to avaoid taking Melatonin with Xeralto.

Wish you all the best.
