See symptoms of HIV which comes initially are very nonspecific. It depends on immunity of ones body that when the HIV will take the Upper hand and symptoms would appear.
In general it takes 4-6 weeks to develop symptoms.
Initially on contraction one might have flu like symptoms.
Symptoms that appear commonly are fever , oral ulcers , lymph node enlargement, weight loss, diarrhea.
