Detailed Answer:
Hello Thanks for choosing HCM for your health related queries

You are a 24 years old male and have OCD. Paroxetine is a SSRI drug and is a good drug for OCD. Ubiquer is a supplement medicine consisting of Coenzyme Q.

Paroxetine is one of commonly used drug in OCD. OCD is a type of anxiety disorder in which treatment should be taken for long periods of time. If your symptoms are under control since more than 6 months then you can consult your psychiatrist to discontinue the medicine.

While discontinuing medicine I will advise you to practice yoga and Relaxation Exercises to keep anxiety away.

If you are responding to medicine then there is no need to change the doses of medicines.

Normally it depends upon psychiatrist and clinical situation of patient that how long patient should be given the treatment. In usual case most clinicians advise patient to continue to take medicines for 6 months to one year after symptom remission.

Thanks
