How Long After Intercourse Can A Pregnancy Test Be Taken?
10-14 days after conception
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
the first signs of pregnancy do not follow the date of the sexual contact. They follow the date of conception which coincides with the date of ovulation. The date of ovulation cannot be predicted. It comes 14 days before the first day of your period, which means that you only know when you had your ovulation in the past but you can't say for sure about the next ovulation because the time from the first day of the period to the ovulation may vary. Women with a stable cycle can fairly accurately predict it. For example a woman with a cycle of 28 days will ovulate 14 days after the start of her period. This means that having sex after a week or so from her period to 2 weeks later may get her pregnant. The fertile days can from 5-6 days before ovulation to up to 24 hours later, so it all adds up to about one week per cycle.
I hope this is clear enough!

No...
Detailed Answer:
A yeast infection is not supposed to cause false positives. Beta-hCG may rise in various cases though (besides pregnancy I mean) including miscarriage, mole pregnancy, tumors... If for example you got pregnant earlier and you had a miscarriage then the beta-hCG levels might have been still high and detectable by the pregnancy test.
Do the quantitative blood test and repeat it after a week or so to see if the levels are rising. If they do, then pregnancy is likely.
