How Effective Is A Progestins Pill For Birth Control?

Question: I am currently taking augmenting 875 mg twice daily and XXXXXXX birth control which is a progestin only pill. I had unprotected sex yesterday evening and am wondering if I should take the EC pill to be protected as I am 46 and do not want anymore children. My next period is due in about 5 days
