Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be related to the vaccination

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting us with your health concern

Limb swelling following vaccine administration occurs on the limb where the shot was given. Since she has only one foot swelling it is likely to be unrelated to vaccination or allergic reaction.

Minor trauma, infection, inflammation, venous thrombosis to mention a few can cause such swelling limited to one foot alone. A detailed clinical evaluation followed by investigations depending on the initial screening is needed at this point. It is difficult to give you a definite answer without evaluating her thoroughly.
So it is best that your fiance follow up with urgent care or primary provider.

She felt a fever as well right after the foot pain as well. What are normal side effects for after vaccination?

Brief Answer:
Vaccination side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

Mild fever, pain, and swelling on the injection site, mild swelling on the limb where the shot was given are all expected side effects from a vaccination. However, foot swelling following receiving injection on arm cannot be attributed to the vaccination and need further evaluation as we discussed earlier.
