The second one was March 17th to March 21st, 5 to 6 day is normal for me to be on my period. The third was March 25th to March 29th and I had unbearable lower abdominal pain, passing clots, fatigue, nausea and some episodes of emesis. I went to the ER and was told that I may have DUB and that it would only happen once in my life, but when ?I period the following month in April, days after I started bleeding again. Also, after the bleeding stopped in March, I started to have vaginal itching, but no discharge. When I went to the ER, I was not given anything only told to take motrin for the cramps.
Brief Answer:
Various causes can be there
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Irregular bleeding can be due to the hormonal disturbance like dysfunction uterine bleeding, hypothyroidism, or in case of endometrial hyperplasia or fibroid in the uterus.
An ultrasound is advised to rule out any fibroid or endometrial pathology and thyroid function test should be done.
If these are normal, then it is most likely dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi Dr. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
When I went to the ER, they did an ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound and blood tests on me and everything came back normal. Your answer was very helpful and I greatly appreciate it, just trying to figure out what is happening.
