Is TRT Treatment Required For Low Testosterone Levels When There Are No Symptoms Like Low Libido?
Question: Hello,
I have low testosterone levels and my doc has been very vague, but wants to start me on a TRT. I haven't had any issues with drive and I personally would consider myself sexually over active. My wife however is different. We have intercourse once or twice a month. My question is does that affect my t levels?

Would you please attach the result of your testosterone level to judge how low it is for your age.
Do you have other symptoms of low testoterone level (low energy, decrease muscular bulk, insomnia, depression, tendency to gain weight, loss of body hair).
Did you check thryoid function and prolactine level as they can be the cause of low testosterone?

Estradiol 52
No I don't experience low libido (I would argue the opposite), ED, or body hair loss. Thoughts?

The testosterone level you reported is low for your age, but we do not recommend to start treatment if you have no symptoms ( i wonder why did you check testosterone if you have no symptoms?) of low testosterone.
Anyway, if you have no symptoms, physical activity is recommended and check testosterone again after 3 months.
If symptoms are present, i do agree with your treating physicians to start treatment with TRT.
