Question: Hi, I'm XXXXXXX I'm 22 years old and live in California.

I noticed a subconjunctival eye hemorrhage in my right eye this past Saturday night at a concert. It is the first time it has happened to me and it is very red and bloody. So far it has been 6 days now, but I have noticed no improvement of the condition- it looks the same as when it first appeared. Since the past 3 days I have been taking Arnica 200c and Hamamelis 30c twice a day. I take these by dissolving the tablets on my tounge.

I saw a traditional eye doctor on Monday who said it will take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to heal. I have a big conference coming up and need it to heal asap. Please help!!

Hello,

Thanks for your query.

First of all I would like to know the cause. Was there an injury (either injury on the head or injury on the eye)? It is sometimes seen in patients with high blood pressure - so check your blood pressure.

I would like to change some of your medicine; you can start taking the medicine accordingly
- Arnica 200, 3-4 Drops on the tongue 4 times in a day (Made in Germany)
- Belladona 200, 3-4 drops in every three hour (Made in Germany)
- Ruta 30, 3-4 drops twice in a day (Made in Germany)

There is no need to take Hammemilis; because it works when there is bleeding

If this is a case of injury you will be relief with in 1-2 week. Please inform me about your progress after a week.

Hope this answers your query. If you have any query feel free to ask

Take care

Hi Dr. Pandey,

There was no injury at all to the eye. I think it was spontaneous or maybe because I vomited that night which may have built pressure in my eyes. I just checked my blood pressure and it's completely normal.

I am currently taking this form of Hammemilis and Arnica from the brand Boiron.

How should I change my treatment? You mention taking drops on the tounge but how do I get drops? I currently have Arnica 200c in pellet form. Can you let me know specific brands/products of what I should get?

Also, since this was not injury, how long will it take to heal?
Also, since I did not get injured how should the treatment change? Typically Belladona is given for fever, why in this case? Also, I heard it is poisonous? For Ruta, isn't that normally given for eye strain? Sorry for all the questions-- just want to make sure we find the best treatment possible!

Thank you!!

Best, XXXXXXX

Hello,

My apologies for the delay.

These medications are available both as pellet form and dilution/liquid solution form. The dilution/liquid form provide faster results than pellet form. Therefor I suggested you to use the later instead of pellets.

I am unaware of any pharmaceutical brands of your nation that prepares the dilution form of medications. You can possibly search for the same brand from your local dealer or have it prescribed from your doctor. Alternatively you can tr and order online using this link WWW.WWWW.WW

Also I have changed the frequency of medicine - take 3-4 drops of medicine directly on the tongue.

As far as doubts about belladona is concerned, belladona is polychrest medicine. It is poisonous in crude form; but in homoeopathy it is potentialised and is totaly a safe medicine. It is not only meant for fever. It has other vast role - as a polychrest medicine it is also prescribed in EYE and HEAD conditions. Actually belladona is one of trios which is specially given in turmoil of circulation - meaning if there is any hyper circulation of blood or congestion of blood towards head.

Ruta is also given because this work in case of over-strain of ocular muscle which might be a reason for the hemorrhages.

I expect you to be cured within 2-3 weeks with the aforementioned medications.

Hope this resolve your doubt; in case you have any query I will be happy to answer you.
I once again apologize for the delay. Wish you a speedy recovery.

Take care
Thanks
