Brief Answer:
The doses you are taking should be well tolerated

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

The doses you have been taking are normal doses that are well tolerated by the body, so normally we would not expect any side effect. 4000 UI is the maximum dose tolerated by an adult.

Anyway, if for some reason you have low metabolism of the vitamin, and your body is not tolerating it well, the symptoms that if would more commonly give as side effects are: weakness, headache, somnolence, nausea, dry mouth, metallic taste, constipation, muscle or bone pain.

Hope this is helpful and answers your question.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.

Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
