Does Severe Anxiety Result In Nocturnal Erections?

default
Posted on Tue, 7 Mar 2017
Question: Vein on the top of my penis has become enlarged overtime. It is more visible when flacid and it appears two veins cross over each other with what appears to be a lump/knot. It is been getting bigger over last two years and in last 6 months my erection quality has diminshed. I can now only achieve 60-80% erection and loose very quickly without manual stimulation. I have also lost nocturnal erections, they are non existent or very soft/weak. My penis head has also turned a blueish/purple colour over the last 2 years.. im worried blood flow is not correct. Could this be a thrombrosed vein and could this be the cause of my ED? Im healthy 25 with a good BMI, dont smoke and dont drink.

Brief Answer:
The promnent veins over shaft of the penis are normal

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

The prominent veins over shaft of the penis that you have are dilated tributaries of Lateral Superficial Veins of pens and are seen in many individuals and not to be worried for .

The color of the glans penis is also normal .

As regards your doubt of loss of morning erection and inadequate erection are all the problems mainly due to anxiety and not due to these prominent veins ..

Following measure will help you to boost up your confidence and getting good erection.and delay ejaculation.
1) Practice regular exercise for 45 minutes followed by meditation for 1/2 an hour in the morning.
2) Take high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits and Vitamin A,C,D,E.and Zinc
3)Take anti oxidants like Almonds 5-6 everyday..
4) Avoid alcohol and smoking..

Thank you,

Final question: can over-masturbation cause ED?
For years ive masturbated 3-4 times a day and even continued to masturbate with a weak erection. I should probably mention i use porn as ive read this can be an issue.

I understand the way i speak suggests anxiety, as im making problems in my head which i believe are wrong (colour of glands, large vein and now masturbation/porn) however it just feels there is something physically wrong.

I will follow your advise for next month and see how i get on.

A detailed response is highly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Brief Answer:
Habitual excessive masturbation causes ED

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for highlighting new facts about your addiction for masturbation .

Excessive and frequent habitual masturbation does affect quality of erection
and delays ejaculation. Please try to reduce the frequency of masturbation by keeping yourself busy in activities like sports, reading ,social work etc so that you will not get free time to masturbate.

This requires self determination .

Thanks and Regards.
