Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
There is no adverse interaction between Losartan, Atorvastatin and Milk Thistle and therefore you can take all three.

The website also suggested possible issues with acetemetephine and ibuprofen which I take once in a while. Do I need to not use these?

Thanks so much for your help!

Brief Answer:
Welcome

Detailed Answer:
There is no documented adverse interaction with Milk Thistle . Ibuprofen can reduce the effect of Losartan and may get your blood pressure high.
However if the Milk Thistle web site advises you not to take, it is better to avoid as all adverse interactions do not get reported to the medical community. The makers of the supplement would have had feed backs of adverse interaction.

Take Care,

Thank you but I meant the web doctor website where I was getting all my info and got referred to you. Looks like maybe due to Losartan I should not use ibuprofen? And I guess you don't see any issues between my meds and milk thistle. Do you see health benefits to milk thistle?

thanks

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Milk Thistle is a supplement about which many unproven claims like for reducing belly fat and beneficial benefit for high blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and reduction of risk for heart attack and stroke are claimed by the manufacturers.
As there is no adverse reaction reported with the medicines you are using and since you have already bought it, you can use it. Keep a watch on your blood pressure and should the claims prove to be true, you may be able to reduce the dose of Losartan.
