Yes it can

Detailed Answer:
Hello!Thank you for asking HealthCareMagic.
I have gone through your question.

Masturbation is a physical need and it's good for the health but when is done to often (3xday ) yes, may affect your mental health.

It can make you feel depressed, anxious, affect your daily life, affect your social life , work ..turn to a compulsive habit (obsessed).
To overcome thid habit a psychotherapy treatment is needed. So if your habit is affecting your everyday life,emotions..i would suggest to go to your local doctor and he /she will help you for the therapy.

Hope i have answered your question.
Let me know if you have any further questions, will be happy to help.
Take Care!
Dr Balliu.
