Question: Hello my doktor prescribedHydroxyzine pam 25 mg for my Anxiety .I am a 78 year old female and have many allergies especially right now in the fall season .Please answer my question it said on the label it can cause blurred vision and I am a little worried about it .I am in good health and take Bloodpressure meds Carvedilol twice a day 6.25 mg and a babyaspirin 81 mg thanks XXXXX YYYY@YYYY

Blurred vision is an extremely rare side effect of this medication. I would not expect this to happen to you. Hydroxyzine is safe and effective. If for some reason the medication does cause a side effect you cannot tolerate, there are other options out there, such as gabapentin. But hydroxyzine should work well.
