Does Intake Of ATT Drugs Cause Skin Allergy?

Question: My brother is a CKD patient on dialysis. ATT medicine (for TB) has started since 15 days. FLAGYL 400mg(1-1-1) has been prescribed by Nephrologist to control loose motion. FLAGYL started yesterday. Since morning observed allergy on thighs. What could be the reason ATT medicine or FLAGYL or some thing else.

Is there any medicine for allergy control? Should I stop ATT medicine/FLAGYL?

Get done SGPT and bilirubin first.

I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the image you have attached.
This can be due to ATT related skin allergy.
But better to first get done SGPT and bilirubin level to rule out ATT induced hepatitis. High bilirubin can also cause similar skin lesions.
Flagyl is unlikely to cause this.
She can take levocetrizine for this allergy.
Please let me know if she feels itchy on thighs or not.
