Brief Answer:
cambogia May induce bleeding

Detailed Answer:
DEAR sir,
Thanks for consulting Hcm.

As garcinia cambogia used for weight loss and controlling cholestrol level.but the acid present in cambogia May induce bleeding when taken it in large amount.
No relavent studies shows bleeding as because garcinia .depends on quantity and mode, timing of intake may play a role.

Coleus forkslin Extract got many medicinal properties. as in ayurveda we use it for heart disease.

As many clinical studies found less adverse effect in forkslin extract.

I didn't find any clinical studies showing bleeding as because of forkslin extract.

however,

clinical symptom of bleeding should be assessed. Whether it is oral or intestinal or any other bleeding.
Clotting factor, prothrombin time, coagulation factor should be investigated.

If you can provide me the clear history of your problem. I can clarify your doubt in better way.

Thank you

Thank you Dr.
I was asking because I am due for a biopsy for my prostate cancer next Monday and was interested in whether either of these elements need to be stopped prior to the test. It seems like the Garcinia should be, although the coleus may be able to be continued, based on what you said. At least that's what I thought I read into your response?

stop temporarily till the test perform

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply.
Garcinia got some bad effect along with pain killer and diabetic drugs.
So better to avoid the garcinia cambogia till your test carry out.(biopsy)
After the test you can continue the garcinia.
Hope I answered your query. Kindly let me know if there any clarification.

Brief Answer:
may act as a blood thinner in indirect way.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

In ayurveda, we use it for respiratory infection in decotion form and for heart disease.
It contain adenylyl cyclase enzyme which is the one used in regulation of body cells.

I don't find any blood thinning active principle in the plant. But traditionally we use it for heart disease because of its anti oxidant property.

So indirectly it got effect in blood component. So you can use it.

Thank you
Regards
Dr.S.Senthilnathan.
