Brief Answer:
Rheumatoid arthritis can lead to kidney problems

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. I am sorry to say that I could not clearly understand your query. Did you mean to ask whether 'arthritis' causes renal problems? Please confirm. Arthrosis is another name for osteoarthritis, one type of arthritis, and you could be asking about it. I would be glad if you elaborate on the problem.

Increasing evidence suggests that having rheumatoid arthritis increases the risk of potentially serious kidney disease. Perhaps that is what you are seeking to know.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards

my question is whether or not the drug Arthrotec can cause renal or kidney problems. i know i have osteoarthritis and was treated with Arthrotec for it but was taken off the drug due to blood work which showed problems with the kidneys. i would like another opinion and am asking you for information on this subject.

Brief Answer:
Renal toxicities present

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Arthrotec (Diclofenac Sodium, Misoprostol) can have renal toxicities. I would be glad if you could specify what sort of problems with your kidneys have been diagnosed. Based on that I could try to find whether there could be a possible correlation.
