Brief Answer:
MINIMAL COMPLICATIONS

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for using HCM.

Do you mean to ask whether death of a child will occur if you inject 10 ml of air intramuscularly,
or do you mean to ask whether you have already injected 10 ml i.m. into a child and this has caused sudden death?

IF SO:
There is nothing to be worried with an injection of an empty 10 ml syringe, that too in the muscle.

The last possible complication that you can expect is a muscle haematoma, cellulitis, infection, sudden shock or lastly tetanus.

Please confirm whether it is a used syringe or a brand new one.
If it is a used one, the chances of infection will be more likely.

If it is in a vein or artery the chances of air embolism are a possibility, but then the quantity of air should be more, not 10 ml, again depending on different conditions.

You can please, get back to me on any doubts related to your question.

All the best, take care.

Brief Answer:
air embolism

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for following up in hcm.

I would be really be pleased and contended if you could have informed me the reason for your query genuinely
Or the incident has really or incidentally occurred.

Injection of empty air syringe in vein can cause air embolism, leading to sudden hypotension & tachycardia, if not diagnosed and treated on time can lead to death.

If the syringe is in the chest,it can cause damage to the lungs or the heart.

If the injury is in the heart it can cause pericardial damage with haematoma or tamponade,or cardiac muscle damage.

If the injury is in the lungs it can cause damage to the pleura leading to haemothorax or pneumothorax.

Please do not try with these methods, not in the slightest,as it is very inhuman, especially in little kids.
If intentionally or deliberately done it can take a legal course,

If you still have any doubt you can get back.

All the best.
Take care

Brief Answer:
side effects_sedation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks again for using him.

Its really unfortunate for a small kid to take this tablet.
This tablet belongs to the benzodiazipine group of drugs, wherein the selective dose for adults itself is 0.25 mgs to 0.5mgs.

This can cause drowsiness, weakness, hypotonia, somnambulism in normal doses itself.

In exceeded doses it can cause severe sedation, hypotonia, bradycardia, hypotension, delayed respiratory efforts.

If you find all these symptoms in your kid please take her to the emergency to be kept in observation or notify this to your treating doctor.

These symptoms can sometimes last for 24 to 48 hours.
If you find your child is all the while fine and active do not worry, but keep a watch on actively.

Hoping that I have given you a good response ,please be careful in future regarding the storage and placement of these drugs.

Any doubt please let me know.

All the best, take care
