Does An ESR Level Of 96 Suggest Cancer?
Question: My ESR is 96 and i am feeling lot of weakness in body is this due to Cancer ?

ESR is erythrocyte sedimentation rate and shows the rate at which the red blood cells in a sample settle down usually measured after 1 hour.
The ESR is usually from 0 to 22 mm at the end of 1 hour. It can be increased in many disease conditions including fever, cold, inflammation, cancer, arthritis and any other illnesses.
It is not possible to make a diagnosis based on ESR and if you have weakness then a complete medical check up is suggested. You can attend a cancer screening clinic after discussing with your doctor.

2. Your anti CCP level is normal.
3. Your chikungunya antibody is positive. This can cause high ESR.
4. Your alpha 1 and alpha 2 globulin are mildly increased and this can be due to inflammation line chikungunya infection.
