Does UTI Or Kidney Infection Cause Miscarriage?

Question: Hi, im nearly 7 weeks pregnant and have just found out that I have a uti/kidney infection. The urine sample has been sent for testing and i have been put on amoxicillion. I have had a temperate today up to 37.7. Can this cause a miscarriage or have any other adverse effects?
