Brief Answer:
You can try the change in formula milk

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

The excessive crying in infants upto 3-5 months of age is very common. The exact cause is not known but colic and reflux found to be the common cause.
This is very distressing and sometimes frustating for both parents and doctor.
But most of the time it resolves on its own and no serious cause has been found. So patience and proper care of baby is very important.
Passing stool 7 times a day or once in 5-7 days is normal in early infancy if not associated with vomiting, abdominal distension and very hard/blood mixed stool.
The common causes of excessive cry(upto 4-5 hours sometimes upto 7-10 hours) in this age is colic, reflux, flatulence, ear pain(due to blockage of ear canal tube) or sometimes babies just want to be held in lap.

You are already giving carmicide(for flatulence) and colicaid(for colic).

Sometimes change in formula feed helps.Although there is not much change in composition of Similac and Nan pro 1,switching of formula milk is advisable in case of excessive cry if baby tolerates the new formula well.If it does not work switching to a formula that does not contain omega 3,6,9 will help.
I would like to give domperidone drop 2 drops three times day to relieve any reflux.Keep the baby on shoulder holding him in such a way so that his tummy should get pressed, to relieve colic.
You can keep him in swing with gentle rocking movement as sometimes babies just want to be held.
Even after taking all these measure baby continues crying get him evaluated by a pediatrician to find out the exact cause.

I hope this helps.
Please do ask if you have any more query.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Little frothing can occur,avoid shaking

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the follow up.

Although a little frothing can occur, stirring with spoon instead of shaking will cause less frothing.
You can give probiotic containing lactobacillus/Saccharomyces.
For 3.7 kg's baby formula milk of 50 ml every 3 hourly is sufficient.Give the feed as per her demand and if he demands for more quantity or more frequent you just feed him accordingly.
