Brief Answer:
It is important to take this medicine regularly to treat T.B.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to the HCM.
Dear for treating T.B four medicines are used (isoniazid, ethambutol, pyrizinamide and rifampicin),and forecox contains all these medicines as one .And is easy to take and a patient does not need to take all 4 medicines seperatly.

Since for treating T.B the first and most important step is take this medicine regularly according to your treating physician advice. Although it has some side effects like acidity, pain in body, change in colour of urine and altered liver function test etc ,but it is not necessary that all patients undergo these side effects.Even these side effects are treatable if informing the treating doctor on time.If compliance is not good then there can be harmful consequences and complications of T.B like perforation, obstruction, and abscess in intestine.

So treatment is necessary avoiding less risk as compare to more favour. In the last I would suggest to take medicine on time and dont skip ,in case of any side effect ,inform your treating doctor promptly and follow the treating physician accordingly.

Hopefully my answer will be helpfull, please do not hesitate to ask more ,if you have any question to ask.
Wish you best of health.
Regards,
Dr.Maheshwari
