Brief Answer: Possible side effect Coversyl Detailed Answer: Hi there, Thanks for writing in. Yes, you may be right. Headache is one of the side effects of coversyl. You might get used to the medication and the headache might come down. However, if the headache is persistent and frequent, do visit your doctor and ask for another alternate medication for hypertension. I would also advise you to get your blood pressure checked as high blood pressure can sometimes cause headache. Do you have any past history of migraines? Is the headache throbbing in nature? Is it associated with nausea or vomiting? Do you have any cold or sinusitis? Also do the following measures to control hypertension : Regular exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. Reduce salt intake in diet. Avoid pickled and salty food. Have plenty of green leafy vegetables, salads with olive oil dressing. Do yoga/meditation to help you relax and lower your blood pressure naturally. Hope my answer was helpful to you. Do get back to me if you have further queries. Regards, Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
