Brief Answer:
Neither drug affects semen volume.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me assure you, that neither of the drugs affects semen count.
Normal semen volume varies between 0.5ml to 6ml.
According to the period of abstinence, the volume also varies.
Longer the abstinence, more the volume.
Period of arousal before intercourse, can also affect the volume.
A rare side-effect of Fluticasone, is impotence.
So, now your doubt should be cleared.
Wish you well.

Brief Answer:
One week before mid-cycle is best.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
I've not advised to have sex on alternate days.
You should've sex, starting from the first week after wife's periods, to the second week for maximal chances of pregnancy.
Thereafter chances for fertilization diminish.
That's one week before mid-cycle, has maximal chance of fertilization.
Wish you well.
