Consistent Bleeding Since Days. Had Taken I-pill Post Sex, Earlier Instance Of Unprotected Sex. Due To Pill Or Pregnancy?
Question: Hi
I had unprotected sex with my BF on 3rd day of my period though he did not ejaculate in me.that was on April15th and then again had unprotected sex again on May 6th.Though i took an I-Pill within an Hour.Now since 13th may i have been bleeding i am not sure if its my periods because my period was also due nearby,also the bleeding is not like my usual period one,its just pure red blood coming out.So Could it be spotting because of the Pill?Or Could it be pregnancy ?i have not take the Pregnancy test.Please Advice.

The chances of pregnancy are very less as you had emergency pills within 1hr after unprotected sex and he is not ejaculated inside.
The bleeding is because of your periods (changes in blood flow may be because of pills).
There is no need to do a pregnancy test.

But as far as i know the pill does not work if one is already pregnant right ? we even had unprotected sex during my 3rd day of period last month,and usually my periods do not last more than 4 days,within 1 cycle we had unprotected sex 2 times and i was just waiting for this month's periods to make sure i am not pregnant or something.and this time the flow is a bit different,so i am confused.So are you sure there is no need for me to take a test ?

Yes, you are right I-pills are not effective in pregnant patient because it is only a type of emergency contraception.
