Can A Lump In The Right Armpit Be Treated?

default
Posted on Tue, 27 Jun 2017
Question: Hello there... recently I noticed a smallish lump in my right armpit between the crease of the armpit and breast, visited my GP about it she said it's not a concern to her... mentioned fibrodenoma?; but not to worry referring me for an ultrasound scan just to put my mind at rest. However I've been having some mild aching around that area, I'm not positive but I recently started cerelle so not sure if the aching is connected to it, I've been having headaches and a few other problems so I've stopped taking it.although my gp has reassured me im still a bit worried. I'm 25.

Brief Answer:
benign soft tissue lesion of the breast only , non cancerous .

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear
I evaluated your query in depth .
* Seems benign breast lesion most likely , nothing cancerous at all .
* Regarding Cerelle I would specify as
- Cerelle is known to cause hormone induced breast heaviness , headache ;
the noticed lump may be a normal variant of that effect only
- it may be possible that soft tissue lump as small fibroadenoma was pre
existing & you just noticed now
* In any of the instances there is no issue of worrying at all .
* If have ultrasound report done can attach herewith for further details
Hope this helps you .

Brief Answer:
pain will subside within 5-7 days once drug effect is over .

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear
* It was your wise step to discontinue the medicine
* It will take around 5-7 days to revert the hormone induced effects of the drug
* For mild ache I do not recommend to take any pain killers rather
maintain your hydration with plenty of liquids
take balanced nutritious diet
engage yourself more in likelihood activities
remain ambulatory with regular walking , exercises , YOGA will help a lot
avoid stress / anxiety
have regular sound sleep of 7-8 hrs
avoid smoking / alcohol if consuming
* Wishing you fine recovery from the same .

Brief Answer:
Cerelle has contributed much in the pain occurrence .

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear
* Cerelle has contributed to much extent in the pain ( if lump was already there
before its starting ) & is the only cause of pain ( if there was no lump before
starting it )
* So do not worry at all for the scan , as the psychological thinking will give you
phantom pain even the actual pain is not there .
Hope this helps you .
Regards .
