Posted on Wed, 16 Dec 2015
Question: I am 29 weeks pregnant, I take pregnacare plus in the morning and valupak at night time. recently i did a blood test and my vitmain D lvl was 49.30 and the normal range is 50-149. so mine is on the low border. I was thinking of taking a calcium and vitmain D supplement that is higher dose than valupak. so I was thinking of taking the wellbiotic.
- i will be visiting my doctor within 2 weeks, so i just wanted to know if it is safe to take this wellbiotic?

Brief Answer:
Vitamin D3 supplemenation

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I have reviewed the drugs you are taking. They are vitamin preparations and are completely safe to take in pregnancy. Rather than wellbiotic, I will suggest you to take vitamin D3 XXXXXXX or tablets containing 2000IU of vitamin D3 content biweekly to cover up the deficiency of vitamin D3 you are having.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
