Can Meftal-P Be Given For Fever In A Child?

Question: Hi Doctor

My daughter is having fever 102 and someone has suggested Motrin n Tylenol fever medicine and gave probiotics but fever is not coming down after sponge also.

Shall I give her meftal-P?

Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

Usually it takes some time for the fever to subside. If at least half an hour has already elapsed you can give her Meftal P. Also check the dose of Tylenol. It should be 15mg/kg/dose.
