Question: HI Doctor,

I unknowingly wore an underwear of hiv infected person and it was dry, as far as i know. i got rapid HIV tested after 3 months and it is negative. am i at risk of infecting

No you are at no risk of HIV and don't worry your test results also suggest the same. HIV virus is an obligate intracellular pathogen and requires cell to live and replicate. Practice protection during intercourse with the partner of unknown status.

Thanks a lot doctor, I am not sure if the underwear was clean, thats what scared me to death. Do you still think that it should not be risky and not cause infection.
