Can HIV Or STD Be Contracted Through Protected Oral Sex?

Posted on Thu, 2 Mar 2017
Question: I have an STD HIV risk question please. I was with a CSW recently no intercourse but protected oral her on me. I also rubbed her vagina to orgasm with lubricant and fingered her anus apologies for the intimate details. I see fingering is low risk but I had an upstart small cut on my finger where nail hits cuticle skin it was not bleeding but not scabbed or clear although it happened 3 days previous. It was a little red to see and when pulled the next day as u was panicking there was the smallest red discharge. I am very worried and I did not have any sex apart from the oral with condom. Basically have I put my selfish at risk of getting hiv through my small not fully healed finger cut it any other std. thank you worried like hell and never again.

Brief Answer:
No risk for HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Welcome to HCM.

Protected oral sex, rubbing of vagina and fingering the anus all carries no risk for HIV. Even though with small unhealed cut on your finger the risk is very unlikely so don't get worried or tensed.

Redness or discharge might be due to some other infection or allergy for which consult your physician and follow the treatment regime as per advice. You are absolutely safe and risk free. Be relaxed, forget the episode and move on in life. For any further query feel free to ask me any time.

Thank You

Thank you for your answer but just so I am clear even if the cut on my finger was red not closed or scabbed yet just raw and sore to touch between the skin and the nail (it did bled slightly 2 days before incident when it happened) there would be a little chance of any vaginal secretions that might have HIV getting into my bloodstream from the vaginal or anal fingering of the lady. I have looked at the finger since and it is still and when I squeezed it yesterday there was a tiny bit of blood. So sorry to seek your further clarification but really appreciate your expert opinion as I am scared to death hiv might have got in. Thank you in advance
