Brief Answer:
Possibility of HIV is nil with given description.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thank you for query. Welcome to health care magic.
I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query. I have gone through the photo and details.

I do not see any open or bleeding wounds in the palm or fingers which is likely to transmit HIV.
So I do not see any reason for you to worry about HIV.Simple redness or wound will not transmit HIV.HIV does not survive in environment. So there is no chances of transmission of HIV by any injury.

I do not see any need for HIV tests. One possibility is tetanus if not immunised .Just washing wound with running water and keeping wound clean is sufficient to prevent tetanus.

You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
No chance of HIV transmission

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
HIV is not transmitted by injuries as it does not survive in environment. So there is no source of HIV to enter body.
So no chance of transmission. Moreover there is no open wound to say HIV entered. Skin is an effective barrier and does not transmit HIV.

Brief Answer:
Possibility of HIV transmission is nil

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

HIV does not survive in environment i.e in objects or surfaces or things or water for long time.So there is no chance of transmission of HIV even,if you come in contact with many objects after the injury.
Moreover you say there was no bleeding wound. So there was no open wound earlier too.
There is no portal of entry for HIV.

HIV can enter only if there is open bleeding wound . If skin is intact there is no chance of transmission. It is unlikely with the given photo or description to have open wound.

If you had open wound earlier, you would have had a breech in skin now too or Healed lesion or scab now.Now you do not have any.
Today it is sore means it is a new one arising now and not old one.

You can get back for any clarification.

Answered by Dr. Bharatesh Devendra Basti (6 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No need for HIV tests.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

I dont see any need for you to get tested for HIV. Sore does not transmit HIV ,unless it is open and comes in contact with HIV. Usually you will not come in contact with HIV during any routine works.
So there is no need to worry.
