Brief Answer:
Gradually quit it not suddenly

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Thank you for your query.
I would like to know since when your father is taking Bupin 0.5 mg ?

As your father is addicted to Afeem feom last 30 years and taking treatment since 4 years, so it may precipitate withdrawal symptoms if you suddenly stop it.
Is there any other effect except physical weakness like withdrawal symptoms (leg cramps, yawning, diarrhea, watering from eyes, running nose etc...)?
I would like to advise you quit it gradually not sudden.

Also there is other medication named Quidict (combination of buprenorphine 0.5 mg partial agonist and nalaxone 2mg antagonist) which also has very good effect as it has antagonist so no chance of addiction of it.

Discuss with your treating doctor.

Awaiting your response.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Due to opioid withdrawal

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

What ever the symptoms you described about your father is due to buprenorphine withdrawal as buprenorphine is also partial opioid agonist.

so continue it in minimum effective dose.

There is no such side effect of buspin on kidney and other body parts only minimal side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, depression etc.. which every drug has.

So not to worry regarding it.

You can take clonazepam for sleep and also for sleep disturbance.
You can discuss with your treating doctor about the drug which i mentioned.

wish you healthy health.

Thank you

sir
what i do creatinine to normal
doctor
Answered by Dr. Vipul Prajapati (7 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
no need to do anything at present

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

First of all, repeat creatinine after 15 days as your father's creatinine is borderline and not much high, it may occur due to any error or by chance also.

Drink plenty of water.

If creatinine is high on repeat test, only then we need to find reason behind it.

Not to worry.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Buspin is not banned but it is not freely available in medical store, only psychiatrist keeps the medication with him and it is available in Combination with naloxone, oipoid antagonist.

Clodict is the medication which is used to control hypertension secondary to opioid withdrawal.
Lopez 2 mg is Benzodiazepins and used for sleep.
Vasfree is used for pain symptoms.

Your report is not significantly altered so not to worry.

on any body part.
doctor
Answered by Dr. Vipul Prajapati (37 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
No need to take it

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

If your father leaves it since last 20 days then no need to start again.
There is no such side effects on any part of body if he can not take bupin.

There is laziness is due to it but as the time pass it will improved.

As your father is taking bupin since last 4 years so laziness is there afterall bupin is also a opioid partial agonist.

So not to worry about it.
You can take medication like Fluoxetine or modafinil to overcome laziness.

Thank you

dad feel not well. he feel lazy. he said his body is very down.but morning then he said ok. what is this.
doctor
Answered by Dr. Vipul Prajapati (7 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
due to Diurnal variation

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Sometimes chronic illness has diurnal variation. Here in morning hours one might feel well and as the day passes laziness starts.

So for this type of symptoms SSRI (selective serotonin re uptake inhibitor), SNRI (serotonin and re uptake inhibitor), NASA (nor epinephrine and serotonin antagonist ) group of medication works best.

As I suggest you Fluoxetine and modafinil. Discuss with your treating doctor.

Thank you
