no. I have a white / yellow coating on my tongue. got it after taking antibiotics.

Hi,
Thanks for the additional information.

You have coated tongue. Azithromycin does not cause coated tongue.
Some of the possible causes are dehydration, smoking, poor oral hygiene, low roughage in diet.

One important cause is oral thrush which is yeast coating the tongue.

Please post a picture so that I can see whether it is oral thrush or simple coated tongue.

Thanks for uploading the picture.
This is not oral thrush (yeast). So there is no need to worry.

This is probably due to dehydration and gastroesophageal reflux.
Drink enough fluids and take PPI like Nexium.
Take high fiber diet.

Yes, it is not oral thrush (yeast).

As said earlier,this is probably due to dehydration and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Drink enough fluids and take PPI like Nexium.
Take high fiber diet.
