1. What do you mean by "that morning"?
2. What is the problem you are having now and for how long?
3. What other medications do you take (not just for your current problem, but all) and what ongoing health problems do you have?
4. Please write a more complete history of the problem and question, so that I can have some information to go on.

Thanks

Aspirin & Extended Realease Dipryidamole 25 mg-Twice daily

3a-I have off and on high blood pressure and I have had 3 TIAs since 2000.

Any, on Friday March 10 I had really bad stomach pains in the evening and woke up at about 2:00 am in severe pain and thinking I was having a gall bladder attack, I went to the nearest emergency room. I was diagnosed with a recurrence of my bowel obstruction and made NPO.

Information

Detailed Answer:
Ok, I am trying to piece your information together. So is your question that you developed itching skin after taking the blood thinner?

If you are having hives (red raised blotches on your skin) that itch intensely, and this has come on after taking a specific medication, then I strongly advise contacting the prescribing doctor for an alternative medication. Then, if there are no contraindications to doing so, take an oral antihistamine, such as either diphenhydramine (Benadryl) 50 mg every 6 hours, until your itching resolves, or cetirizine (Zyrtec) 10 mg 1 -2 times per day, until the itching resolves. Both of these are antihistamines that you can get without prescription at the drug store.

If you are having any shortness of breath, wheezing, or swelling of the lips, tongue, or throat, then go to the ER.

If, however, you have a rash that you do not know what it is, then go to your doctor or urgent care clinic.

If there is no rash, but you have generalized itchy skin, try a good non-prescription skin lotion (fragrance free if possible) to see if that helps. Cetaphil, Lubriderm, CeraVe, Eucerin, and Aveeno are ones you might try. These are regular lotions. They are not specifically for anti-itching, but if dry skin is the problem, they might help.

Please let me know if I can provide further information
