Are Recurrent Seizures Signs Of Epilepsy?

Question: my son had first sezure 12 months ago playing cricket in hot conditions and has now had a second one in the same conditions playing cricket in the heat, is this due to him being dehydrated or more likely eplilepsy, he is 17 years of age

i read your question and i understand your concern. Two unprovoked episodes in your son make it epilepsy. Of course hot humid weather with dehydration are the triggers for inducing seizures in epileptic patients. He needs complete work up and brain scans , EEg, blood work up to sort out the cause of seizures and start him on anti convulsants accordingly.
